This is the only gun I use in the Assault Rifle family once the aim is fixed. This gun is my girl.

Hate that thing. Firing rate is too slow, it's heavier than hell and it burns through ammo if you don't watch where you shoot.

Yeah, itīs heavier and fires a lot of ammo, but I think it is much more precise the the Revenant and a single shot has much more power. But thatsīs only a personal opinion ;)

The most badass weapon in the sci-fi ever. I love this gun. I hate how they nerfed it in Mass Effect 3. Your work is great, incredible and i'm envy of you that you have such a gun ;/ Great work!

Youīre right and for me it was one reason to build it. I love it too :D, and Im happy, taht you like my work so much. But I donīt know what you mean with "nerfed it" in part 3. For me it was like in part 2.

Well in single player it has slightly lower dmg IMO and it has a little bit lower accuracy. In multi player i think it's even more nerfed in that matter. But maybe it's just me or multiplayer has just stronger enemies. I don't know. It's still my favourite weapon and i use it in single player and multi player all time.

I didnīt noticed much in the singleplayer but I have to admit, that my last walkthrough finished two weeks after release. Havenīt played it since this time (Sorry, but I was one of the many how was so dissapointed with the ending). Also I didnīt got it in the MP. You can see, Iīm far from judging :). But like you said, all the enemys have become stronger in comparisson to ME2. And it is and will be my favorite too.

I was one that was disappointed with ending too. Check the extended cut. The endings are far greater now. Perhaps you will be satisfied too. I hope so ;) Anyway cheers mate :D

Iīve seen some things on Youtube but havenīt found the time to play it again. There where some exaams that have to bee done and there is also my Widow-replica build. Maybe when I finished this or after the release of another story DLC I give it a try ;)

Hmmm, I donīt know how much you know about this, so let me see. First thing I made was a good plan with multi-side views. If you want to make the gun fit in scale, use a good reference part like the grip and build up the rest from this point. To make a good construction plan, Photoshop or something like this is a helpfull tool. Itīs hard to find good references, so if you need them, I recommend you Troodon80īs side here on DA [link] and this [link] .

Next thing you need is the material. I prefere MDF and styrine (hard plates, not the foam) or PVC. With the MDF you build up the main body and with the styrine you made details like the trigger, the "iron"-sight. Sometimes you must improve to see what works best for which part. Best is you start with a core-part and build the rest around it. I builded my revernt like this. To connect the MDF, normal wood-glue is good and to glue the styrine, use a plastic glue like for revell or Tamiya-models. But if you want to glue Styrine on MDF you must seal the MDF-surface with a primer or use a thick gel glue. This stuff is like a sponge and absorbs the plastic glue immediately. You also need filler to close gaps and dents. The one from revell is very good because itīs easy to handle.

Also good are some tools and a workshop or a garage . Really helpfull is a power drill, a jigsaw, a table saw, files in different sizes for beveling and detail work and lots of sandpaper in different aggregates. Also helpfull is a Dremel tool. For the barrels I used a lathe, but maybe you can use PVC-tubes for this job.

Most of this stuff I learned in Blogs. Really inspiring and great is the blog from Volpin and the thread about his ME2 M8 Avenger Rifle [link] the AER9 Fallout Laser Rifle [link] and the ME3 N7 Valkyre Rifle [link] and the blog of Zanderwitaz [link] .

I hope this was helpfull for you and that my english wasnīt that bad (itīs not my first language).

i was planning on building it off of something, likew an airsoft gun or something like that. that would probably leave just a few changes, instead of building it from the ground up.
and, i don't have access to a lathe, or know anyone that does that could help me out.

I donīt know much about the rebuilding of an existing gun. Never tried it, but it could be a possible starting point for scale and so on. The good thing maybe is, that you can work out everything in styrine and PVC if the base-object is plastic too. So you need no lathe. But I think that the workload will possibly the same in comparisson to build from scratch, sometimes even more.

Maybe helpfull in this case are the blogs, where people rework these nerf-guns. For learning and getting some ideas its a possible source of inspiration ;).

Sorry, there are no real instruction at the moment. They are all in my head and for the next 3 or 4 weeks there is no real time to write them down (itīs exams-time agian). For the moment there is the building-picture-series [link] but cause of the big response, I think I will do something more detailed with the full plans asap ;). So keep an eye on my profile ;)
