While I was working on the M-345 Grendel assault rifle

updatet his Lineage Alliance Armory report with a new gun called Riptide. Again I was interessted and inspired and I made this short black bastard.

Saintwalker defined this gun as an LMG (light mashine gun) but it is really different from the normal LMG. It is only 29,5 inch or 75 cm long, so I call it a s(mall)-LMG. But to make it this short I had to change the traditional LMG design. So the whole gun is a Bullpup. Thermal clips and firechamber are in the buttstock. Only this design allows shortness and a proper barrel length. Also special on this gun is the build in silencer which made it perfect for infiltration (personal note: I don´t think it´s usefull). That´s maybe a reason why this gun is illegal in his Lineage universe.

After the great succsess with the M345-Grendel I jumped into the cold water directly so I didn´t have any feedback from the Inventor by uploading it. I hope he likes what he sees *fingers crossed*.

Loving this! Though it looks more like an SMG or grenade launcher (because those two are so similar hahaha) then an LMG imo.

I know it looks unusual and has a lot in common with actual SMG´s like the P90 or Kriss Vector but Saintwalkers specifications are pretty clear so this is an LMG. Even i have some problems with the design for an LMG

Yeah may not be entirely useful for military combat, it's used by Tartarus for assassinations and such, hence the silencer. I like your description of it being a Bullpup.

For military use your right. No silencer can cover the sonic boom from military ammo. But for assasination it`s ok. Let´s say it´s a weapon for supporting fire on short range with subsonic ammo
