Sorry guys, no Widow-build update, but a.t.m. im sick, so sorry about that.

But while I´m sick I get the chance to finish this one. Started it in may after releasing my Wolfs-Rudel [link] . It was :iconjknight3135: who mentioned, that all the tanks in Mass Effect are only LAV´s (Light Armored Vehicles) or scouts (in my opinion the Hammerhead is to fast and not enough armoured, to be a real tank, so for me it´s only a scout) and how a real tank could look like. So, he made the question, I made the model and here we have the MX722 Tigershark.

The MX722 Tigershark is a heavy armoured main battle tank, I could imagine in the Mass Effect universe. It has 4 seperated tank tracks, a dozer and a tower which is capable of holding two main guns. The MBT uses two 300mm (12 inch) railguns, inspired by the chakram-launcher, which fires round aluminium (15kg) or steel (45kg)-disks with 0,075-0,1% of ligthspeed (remember the speech from this chief on citadel in ME2 about 20kg iron projectiles and Newton-bastard :D). For close quarter defense it has four 20 mm coaxial MG´s, similar to the Mako and six 100mm rocketlaunchers. The second edition uses two 30mm 7-barreled-gatling guns instead of the big chakrams . Also they are capable of orbital drop and evac like the Mako with 14 main and 16 help and steering thrusters. Even if it is a heavy tank, it is not really much bigger than the Mako so it would fit into the cargo bay of the Normandy ;).

Like I said, it is only a could-be, a crazy idea and I know it looks much like the Scorpion from Halo and the Mammouth from C&C but who really cares. :D It´s not so easy anymore to make a real new design, but I tryed my best and I hope you like it.

Now like always: Work and model by me, Mass Effect by Bioware and EA. And again special THX to :icontroodon80: for all the references and the Mako-model. They were really helpfull for color-design and the symbols so thanks man.

Wieso tippen wir eigentlich auf Englisch :D

Ahhhh, wie C&C? Nö, is einfach nur meine Antwort auf stärkere Truppen im Spiel und die immer schwächer werdenden Allianzfahrzeuge ;).

On Mass effect 3 inside the Normandy there is a discussion between 2 soldiers and they mention a old tank. Can not remember the name. It was discontinued but that means you are on the mark.

I know what you mean. The discussion was between Vega and Cortez about the Grizzly [link] , the precursor of the Mako. Problem for me was, that is again "only" a wheeltank. My intention was a really heavy tank with tracks, cause there is no real MBT in the game. The whole gameseries needs a tank, that can stand a little more fire than three shoots ;)

Yes more armor on the game. How about the Titan power armor used on the third installment. I mean couldn't it be used on the se3cond installment? I understand not being present on the first game. Budget considerations. But by the second they knew it was a hit. And also earth did not have one for their marines? Nope I do not buy it. Hey could you make one?

I´m sorry but I´m a bit lost. I didn´t get the essence of your comment and what do you mean with Titan Power Armor. Maybe you can explain it for me a bit?

Mass effect 3 has titan power armor. Mecha that you ride in it. So my question was why they did not put in in the #2. Also why dont you draw something with the suits underwater. I mean it can withstand space operations. So say 100 feet underwater could be done? As for the tank well A regular two trak tank should be about right.

Ahhhh, you meant these Cerberus Mechs, the Atlas if I get it right. Maybe they put it in as a replacement for other vehicles so we have something like "vehiclemissions" in the game. In ME2 we had cabs and the Hammerhead (which I think was made of cardboard ;) ).
I don´t know if you have played the Leviathan DLC cause there you can find (my opinion) exactly what you asked me - diving with a mech really deep ;) (don´t want to spoil to much). BTW: Sorry, I will never draw such a scene in the near future cause I can´t draw ;) and for a rendering I can´t guarantee. But I will think about a two track tank ;)
