Kind o looks like the SHOTGUN! from halo now all Shepard needs is red armor to be the second most badass guy in the universe.

Halo :D thatīs a long time ago. Maybe there are some similarities but they are purely coincidental. But Maybe :iconjknight3135: had something like this in mind ;). BTW: since part two you can give Shep red armor (Made it in nearly every walkthrough ;) ).
